This week has been a very creative one. First off the students all made some awesome crafts on Monday. Last Friday the students went to the park and collected leaves, sticks, and other materials to use for their craft. Then on Monday they were told to “make a fall craft” but with no other directions except what things they could use to make their crafts. They were given complete control over what they could create and they did a great job! It was one of our most fun crafts.

先週の金曜日に公園へ行き、落ち葉や木の枝などの資材をクラフト用に集めました。そして月曜日に「秋」をテーマにしたクラフトをしました🍁
このクラフトにはお手本や先生からの指示は無く、自分達が拾ってきた材料を使って自由に作品を作りました✨
思い思いに作品作りを楽しみ、とても個性的な作品が仕上がりました♩
初めての試みでしたが、とても楽しい時間になりました！
The rest of the week during our UOI lessons was used for planning our Year End Celebration. The students have learned so much during the unit about different celebrations and it was time to use that knowledge and create something. They decided on a theme and then what they will need for the celebration. Next week we will start preparing for the celebration that we’ll have near the end of December.

Unit3の探求を通して、世界中の様々なお祝い事について学んだMilky Wayさん✨次のステップは自分たちでその知識を使って、Milky Way独自の”Celebration”を作り上げていきます♩
Celebrationのテーマが決定したので、どんなアクティビティーやデコレーションが必要かをみんなで考えてみました✨
来週のUOIから、みんなで考えたデコレーションやゲームに必要なアイテムの作成を始め、12月の終わりに頃に”Year End Celebration”を開催する予定です♩
