Shooting Star has started their week with a discussion: they brained stormed and solicited ideas on how can they help the planet. Different Ideas from each student have overflowed and they all had a good time talking about the causes and the effects of different pollutions. On Tuesday, they used their imaginations and drew how they picture their surroundings: One side of the paper was clean and the other was not clean. After drawing, each student went in front and presented their drawings to the class and talked about how their surroundings got dirty and on the other side, how the place went dirty to clean. The activity showed evidence that the students have really grasped the lesson and have understood completely the cause and effect of Pollution on our planet! 今週シューティングさんはクラスディスカッションから始め、ブレインストーミングをし、どうしたら私達の大切な地球を守る事ができるのかを話し合いました。様々な意見が子供達からあがり、色々な公害が及ぼす原因と影響について話し合いました。火曜日には、子供達の周りにあるcleanな場所とそうでない場所について考え、それを絵に描きました。描いた後、クラスの前に一人一人立ち、何を描いたか説明をしました。この活動は、子供達がどれだけ公害問題を理解しているか、また公害の原因と地球に及ぼす影響について知ることができたのかを証明するものとなりました。
In our Maths lesson, Shooting star has learned a new and very interesting topic: Patterns! The lesson was a piece of cake for everyone, they aced the activity that we did and they are all excited to do more seat-works on patterns next week! 今週、数のレッスンで新しい単元を学び始めました。パターンです。みんなにとってパターンのレッスンは比較的簡単で理解が早かったです。来週はもう少し複雑なワークシートに挑戦します。
Gym class is getting more exciting, most of the shooting star students can already do jump-rope with confidence. Some still need assistance but compared to when they started doing the activity, they are far way better now. ジムレッスンも段々と楽しくなり始めています。ほとんどのシューティングさんは自信を持って長縄跳びを跳べるようになりました。何名かはまだ先生のお手伝いが必要ですが、やり始めた頃と比べると、とても上達しています。
