Preparing for the Big Day(Meadow -September 9-13)

Welcome to Our Weekly Adventure Blog!

Hello, wonderful parents!

We’re excited to embark on this fun and educational journey together through our Weekly Blog. Each week, we’ll dive into creative learning activities, and provide insights into what your little ones are exploring outdoors and in the classroom.

This week, we’re jumping into the exciting world of shapes with the kids! Shapes are more than just fun. We did the shape activity. On the floor, we use tape to outline large shapes of a circle, a square, a rectangle, a star, a triangle, and a heart. We made each shape big enough for the children to step inside. Our students did the Shape Hopscotch. Students hop, skip, or jump from one shape to another. We called out a shape (“Jump to the circle!”) and watched them move to it. This helped with shape recognition and gross motor skills!

In morning Circle Time—a special time for singing, dancing, and learning through movement. It is a beloved part of the day where our kids come together to interact, share, and get their bodies moving.

Learning to Share: Teaching Students to Share Toys with Friends!

This week, we’re focusing on one of the most important lessons for our students—sharing! Sharing toys with friends can sometimes be challenging for young children, but with the right guidance and practice, they can learn how to take turns, cooperate, and enjoy playing together. We demonstrated to them how to share the car toy with a friend and use the word ” PLEASE!”, “Here you are! Thank you!”. They listened carefully and demonstrated to their friends how to share. “Well done, Meadow!

Listen to instructions- We gained the children’s attention before giving instructions. They listened carefully and reacted to what the teacher was saying when playing with friends.

ids Enjoying Outdoor Play

There’s nothing quite like the joy of outdoor play, we make the most of every sunny day! Whether it’s exploring nature, running around with friends, or playing in the sandpit, the children are always excited to head outside. Here’s a look at how our little ones have been making the most of their outdoor time!

Preparing for the Big Day!

Our Sports Festival is just around the corner, and we can’t wait for the big day when the children will get to show off all their hard work. In preparation for our upcoming Sports Festival, the children have been practicing at school and this week, we had our first practice in the gym with a mix of excitement and energy energy. Our goal is to make sure every child feels included, develops motor skills, and, most importantly, has a great time. We are so proud of our little adventurer and we can’t wait to cheer them on. We are looking forward to the parents’ participation and hope you will enjoy the day.

Wishing you all a restful and joyful weekend!
