“If you are tired, learn to rest, not quit!” This has become our motto for this week during our practices for the Sports Festival. Despite the hot humid weather, Milky Way students didn’t give up on practicing to have a wonderful dance performance. Everyone is improving because they are all doing their best and we are very happy seeing those little progress which will turn into big success.
We’ve been loving painting recently during our break time after lunch. And the most exciting thing we painted was our paper clay tiger sculpture! We had a closer look at how a tiger looks using a realistic stuffed toy and observed its color and stripes on the body. They decided what color to use and carefully painted their sculpture. They were so focused and serious while painting it for they didn’t want to make their tiger look dirty because of the black paint they would use.
Of course, we didn’t forget to show our love to our grandparents. They made a special gift for them by using their creativity in drawing, writing lovely messages, and braiding skills.
Milky Way class enjoyed sharing about the seasons they like in our reading lesson. “I like spring because we can see many flowers. I like summer because we can eat ice cream. I like autumn because we can see yellow leaves. I like winter because we can make a snowman.” We read the RAZ book “Spring and Fall” and saw the difference between the two seasons.
In UOI3, we started discussing LOI3:Resolving Conflicts. To assess their understanding about the topic, we divided the class into groups and gave each group a friendship conflict scenario and discussed with their groups how they can solve it. Each group presented their ideas on how to solve the problem given to them and we were surprised how each of them shared their ideas meaningfully. They also promised that they will try to use what they have learned or apply it whenever they have a conflict with their friends.
It’s gonna be a three-day weekend, a long weekend. Make the most of your weekend with your loved ones!🥰
