Aurora: Strength, fitness and agility(Sept 17th~20th)

It is said that the mark of great sportsmen is not how good they are at their best but how good they are at their worst. In Aurora’s cause we can paraphrase this and say that how one starts isn’t really important but how one finishes. There are a few friends who cried during reception. Some said they didn’t want to dance. Some said they didn’t want to run or to throw balls. But with a little encouragement they warmed up to the environment and they did their very best. I was especially impressed by one boy who delayed a bit to take off when the whistle blew but eventually became number 1. Amazing athleticism K!!!! Thank you so much to all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings who were there to cheer on our beloved Aurora students!

We went to the park on Tuesday and Thursday. It wasn’t particulary cool but it wasn’t too hot to cause heat stroke. The extreme summer heat had us cooped up indoors for the past few months so we just decided to brave the weather and enjoy some fresh air at the park. We plan to spend lots of time outdoors next week as maximum temperatures are predicted to range between 23~25 degrees celsius. The official start day of fall is September 23. Hello autumn.

Everyone worked so hard and gave their SF performances their very best. Now it’s time to relax and unwind. Enjoy the long weekend.
