Hooray, Milky Way! Finally the day we’ve been waiting for has come, the Sports Festival day! No words can explain how amazed and proud we are at the Milky Way’s overall performance on the said event. Everybody worked really hard for this day from memorizing the players’ oath, practicing the dance exercise, practicing the cheer, holding the finish line ribbon, counting the balls, running in the track, and of course for the class’ dance performance. We saw how the students showed teamwork to show a fantastic performance. And we were so touched when we saw them hugging each other after their performance. Bravo, Milky Way! You have shown the best “Roar” ever!!!
Thank you so much dear parents for coming, for participating in the game, and for your support all the time. We hope that your children made you proud of them because they all did their best, everything, for you, to make their parents happy. There’s more to look forward to until the end of the year, so please bear with us.
Last Friday, Milky Way students took home a present for their grandparents. In our reading lesson, we read about how great their grandparents are. Before reading the book “Grandparents are Great”, students shared their ideas about how they spend time with their grandparents when they visit them. I could see how they enjoy spending time with their grandparents through their stories and how they remember the good times with their grandparents. Some of the things they do with their grandparents are “We play together. We go shopping. We go to the park. We go to a restaurant. We eat together.”
The Milky Way class also had so much fun playing at the park and gym after our practices. They started to play with fallen leaves. It’s fall season! Playing outside or in the park becomes their reward for practicing really hard for the Sports Festival. They became so patient, understanding, and caring to each and everyone during the practices and we are so proud of you, Milky Way, because of what you have become.
Another long weekend is waving! Let’s take this opportunity to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved rest during this long weekend. See you next week!
