Welcome back to school everyone and happy new year!
Aurora began this week by catching up with our friends at park. They had fun playing with one another for the first time again after the long holidays. They missed the game Mr. Wolf so we did it first before occupying the whole playground.

さて、年末年始のお休みを終えて、2021年初めのアクティビティはパーク！まずは公園全体を使ってミスターウルフ（狼さん）のゲームをしました！みんなとっても元気に楽しく初パークしました笑🥰
It’s getting colder now but no worries because we had more active activities at the gym this time! After some stretching exercises, Aurora students imitated the movements of the animals. They tried to jump like a frog and walk like a crab. The most exciting for them was jumping over the rope which served as the snake. Snake jump became more challenging for them when the snake started to move or the rope started to swing. Finally, they also tried crawling under the rope not touching their bodies on it. These animal exercises are great for kids. They make functional training fun and imaginative while improving strength, flexibility, and balance.
1月に入りとても寒くなってきましたが、オーロラさんは寒さなんてへっちゃら！ジムレッスンで色々なエクササイズをして体を温めました。カエルさんみたいにジャンプしたり、蟹さん歩きをしたり、色々な動物のまねっこをしてウォームアップ！そして今回は縄跳びをしました。長い縄跳びで作った動く蛇さんを上手にジャンプして飛び越えます。お次はトカゲさんみたいに地面をはってロープにあたらないように潜ります！縄跳びを使ったエクササイズは子どもの体力、柔軟性とバランスを鍛えることができます😉
In phonics, we reviewed uppercase and lowercase letters and finished answering worksheets.
フォニックスでは引き続き大文字小文字のレッスンをし、ワークシートを終えることができました！
In writing, they started to write letter Aa both uppercase and lowercase. This time they had to write on the lines of three. They traced the letter following the number of strokes and tried doing it on their own. They were good in tracing but needs more practice in writing the letter without tracing it.
ライティングでも大文字小文字の学習が始まりました！まずは大文字のAと小文字のaの書き方をみんなで学びます。そしてワークシートの字をなぞる練習から始めました。なぞることはとても上手にできますが、これから年中さんに向けてなぞらずに字を書けるように練習が必要になってきます！是非お家でも練習してみてください！
