This is a short week before our winter break. Meadow reviewed the topic on Toys, numbers and letters Ww to Zz. The children tried writing letters and practised the various shapes. We drew rectangles too – 2 long sides and 2 short sides. We played a shape hunting game and tried finding the different shapes.
With teamwork, the class pieced together a snowman jigsaw puzzle. Good job! 👍🏻
お正月休み前の短い週（3日間）となりました。Meadowクラスでは、オモチャ、数字、WからZまでのアルファベットを復習しました。子供たちは数字を書いてみたり、シェイプなどを取り入れた活動を楽しみました。長方形までも、描いてみました。2つの長い辺と短い2本の辺が長方形を作るんだよ、と学びながらゆっくり挑戦しました。シェイプハンティングゲームもしました。
また、とても良いチームワークを見せてくれました。みんなで雪だるまを組み立てました。
In Gym class, we stretched out on our bellies and rolled about. Then it was more hopping and crawling with a long rope.
ジムではお腹を伸ばしたりストレッチを楽しみました。長縄跳びでも飛び越えたり、下をくぐったり、楽しみました。
It is important to keep our classroom environment clean. Our responsible Meadow children were set to task wiping and cleaning the classroom. They were very serious and focussed in getting the job done. Fantastic teamwork everyone!
クラス内の環境をきれいにすることはとても大切なことです。Meadowさんも年末の大掃除をしました。みんなは大喜びでロッカーやいす、クラスの色々な場所を拭いてくれました。みんな楽しく、そしてなんと、ものすごい集中力で仕事を達成してくれました！
With the upcoming winter holiday, we will see a brand new year 2019. It was a rewarding 2018 for us teachers seeing how the children have grown since their first day of school in April. Thank you Parents and Grandparents for being so supportive! Here’s to another fabulous year ahead… Happy New Year to one and all. See you again, Meadow on January 7th 2019!!!
明日から始まるお正月休みを過ぎると2019年、新しい年を迎えます。4月からMeadow クラスのお友達の成長を担任として見れてきたことに感謝を申し上げます。ご理解、ご支援、ご協力、誠にありがとうございました。皆さま、良いお年をお迎えください。2019年、1月7日にまたお会いしましょう。
