We are finally in the last month of the year, which means that the Christmas Show is just around the corner! We had our very first rehearsal on stage this week. It was so exciting for the kids to finally practice in the actual venue of our Christmas Show. We even got the chance to visit our dressing room. It is spacious! A really nice room where we can wait and rest on the performance day. The stage is also quite big! Bigger than our classroom, where we usually practice. The Milky Way kids had to adjust a little bit and make their actions bigger so that they will be seen on stage.
一年で最後の年を迎えました。クリスマスショーの日が近づいてきたということですね。今週はショーのリハーサルがあり、本番と同じステージで練習が出来るのでみんなとても楽しみにしていました。初めて使わせていただく大きな控室にも行きました。とても広くて素晴らしい部屋でした！ステージもいつも練習している教室よりとても広めでした。観客の皆さんからよく見えるように、劇での一人一人の動きを大きくした方がいいことがわかりました。
We also finally got the chance to take pictures wearing our costumes. These pictures will be used for our pamphlet. Everyone’s costumes were inspired, and the students were all so happy trying them on. After taking several pictures, we even danced to one of the songs in our play to make sure that everyone can move comfortably while wearing their costumes. We can’t wait to show you our Christmas Show performance. We hope that you are as excited as we are.
今週やっとクリスマスショーのコスチュームを着て写真撮影をすることが出来ました。保護者の皆様に後日配布するパンフレットに掲載する写真になります。みんなのコスチューム姿はとっても可愛らしくて、子供たちもコスチュームを着ることが出来てとてもうれしそうでした！写真撮影をした後は、（実はコスチュームを着たまま途中で歯科検診もしましたが、、）着心地を確認するためコスチューム着用でダンスの練習もしました。劇の練習では一つ一つの台詞に大きなアクションを付けることに意識して練習をしています。日々楽しい劇が創り出され、ショーで劇をご披露する日を待ち遠しく思います。お楽しみに！
This was a fun week overall with fun activities that we also did in Math, Phonics, and UOI we definitely could not ask for a better week.
