Hello, 2020! (Milky Way)

It’s a brand new year and the Milky Way class went right away to explore our new unit which is about changes and patterns in our environment.

Last week, the students learned that there are noticeable changes that happen in our environment every now and then. By knowing about these changes, we can learn more about our world better!

This week we focused on some changes that we experience throughout the year and these are the Seasons! In the Milky Way class, we learned that the reason we have seasons is because of the angle of the earth as it revolves around the sun. The students also learned that not all countries experience the same season at the same time.

We made our own Season posters, which show specific details that we learned about the four seasons like weather, clothing, and activities. The students enjoyed designing and making the posters and now it is already part of our UOI wall.

We also had our first Tennis class of the year this week. It was so fun looking at the kids practicing their Tennis skills, and I am so proud of all of them because they have improved a lot.

Thank you so much for being so supportive of the Milky Way class. We are all looking forward to the Open Day next week! See you there!
