Success is the result of hard work and teamwork!
Busy days are not over yet, but Milky Way students are very happy that they successfully showed a presentation of what they have learned about plants in the Science Fair held in ISN Gojo campus. Everybody worked hard and worked together from preparing their props to memorizing their lines and the flow of the presentation. In their presentation, it was clearly shown what is a plant, what are the needs of plants to grow, and how we grow and use plants. We also have 3 booths wherein students show their crafts, experiments, and harvested vegetables. Parents also ask questions about unit’s lines of inquiry. Many parents were surprised when the Milky Way offered their tomatoes and basil from their garden for free. Many were also touched with the song they sang in front of everybody “Yesterday’s Dream”. You did a great job, Milky Way and we are so proud of you!
One of our friends celebrated his 6th birthday this month. Happy, happy birthday our dear friend. We hope you enjoyed your birthday party at school.
Since the Science Fair is over, next week we will focus on practicing for the Sports Festival. And as part of it, we already started making a craft that will be used as decorations at the gym. This year’s theme is “Jungle” and we made a jungle animal collage using colored papers. They chose the animal they wanted to make, cut out small pieces of paper, and glued them on the face layout of the animal to make it colorful and alive. Some of the animals they chose are monkey, tiger, and bird. We can’t wait to show them to you in person!
