Our Family House-Shooting Star-April 24th-28th

Hello everyone,

We are on the last week of April and we are all excited for the long Golden Week Holiday.

Thank you dear parents for spending time for Parents Meeting. It was nice sharing with you how your children do their best at school and hearing your comments at the same time how they are at home.

This week, we would like to share with you the very highlight of our school activities on top of our Phonics lesson, Writing, Gym, and Music lesson.

Shooting Star class spent another week of unit 1 with our central idea, Every family is unique. We loved singing the Family Song with the family members being mentioned here. If you want to listen to this song at home with your children, you can click this link provided below.

After introducing our family members in the class, we made a family house. For this activity, we used scissors and glue. We cut out colored construction papers with lines into square shapes to make windows where we glued on our family members then, we attached the label to identify them. And to make our family house more attractive and beautiful, we decorated it with our unique drawings using crayons and we wrote down our name. It was super-duper fun!

Meanwhile, one of the darlings in the class celebrated her birthday this month. We gathered together in the Music room to celebrate the birthday of all ISN children born in April from all classes. Everyone was very happy that we were able to gather together again after years of restricting it due to covid-19. We sang the birthday song together and the birthday celebrators got their birthday card from their homeroom teachers and a crown from Ms. Rieko. Thank you, Ms. Rieko for organizing the party!

Our week is incomplete without our outside play. We enjoyed exploring something with the nature, pretend play in the sandpit, and free play at the school yard.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone.
