The Jungle Sports Festival-Shooting Star-September 16th-20th

Greetings,

Welcome to the jungle!
This week, the whole ISN Minami campus staged our Sports Festival with our remarkable theme, Jungle. Grandparents, parents, teachers, students, and support staff came to the gym with a smile and a sense of excitement. As Shooting Star class, we wanted to perform well to build our participation and to make our parents and other audience cheery. During our welcome song, we tried singing with such big voices and dancing with big actions with the song, Jungle Boogie. Then, when it was our turn for the race, we moved quickly to the race line and as our name was called, we responded, I’m here and positioned ourselves to the starting line. Once given a signal, On your mark, get set, go, we ran as fast as we could to the finish line. Hurrah! We all ran with a positive mind. Whether we won or lost the race, it didn’t matter to us for as long as we all engaged and strived to be risk-takers, and got to the finish line, we’re all winners. Then, we showcased our parachute performance. As The Millipede March song began to play, we re-entered from the left door entrance of the gym with our insect costumes. Then, we positioned ourselves around the parachute getting ready for our performance. As the Circle of Life song began to play, we started to perform in front of the audience, and whoop! Did you see the bridge? It was fantastic to behold how they built core strength. How about the balloon? Wasn’t it big enough? And guess what? The popcorn was truly amazing! We made the balls popped high into the air like popcorn and what’s even more amazing was, all popcorn was off the parachute. You nailed it, Shooting Star. We also acknowledged the presence and participation of our dear parents. Thank you for joining the sack race game. It showed everyone what a friendly competition looks like.

Before we sang the goodbye song, we all got awarded with a special medal.

What a memorable ISN Sports Festival 2024! We left the place triumphant.

Have a fantastic long weekend, everyone.
