Our Little Helpers- Canyon Aug 5th-9th

Hi everyone!

In our UOI lesson, we are learning about how to be “caring.” We teach our little ones to be kind to others and help each other when needed. That’s why this week, we started our “Little Helpers” program in the class. We choose three kids each day to help their teachers during lunch and snack time. They stand in front of the class and ask their friends the following:

Are you ready?

Do you have your water bottle?

Do you have your chopsticks?

Do you have your wet towel?

Do you have your lunch/snack?

Put your hands together.

Itadakimasu, thank you for the food.

Thank you for your help, Canyon. You’re really caring.

As we continue our discussion in our UOI lesson in Unit 2, we have now proceeded to LOI2, where we talked about “People and Animals Help Each Other.” For our prior knowledge assessment, we asked our youngsters how animals help humans. We also discussed what food and products we get from animals.

After that, we had an activity where our young ones chose a picture that they thought showed animals helping humans.

Thank you for joining Matsumoto BonBon. We had so much fun!

Have an awesome holiday, everyone!
