Sharing is caring. – Rainforest 09/02 – 09/06

Before the Rainforest class finally left the third unit which is about Teamwork; they decided to share what they had learned about the topic with their friends in the Savanna Class.

They prepared a presentation showing some conflicts and ways how to manage them and set a goal for a more peaceful future.

The presentation went well, and the Savanna students were in awe as they saw their big brothers and sisters acting out something that was not pleasing in the eyes. We hope that they have learned something and apply it in their everyday life.

For Phonics, we are still looking for words under the Vowel Team ee and ea. This week, we used lots of cards with it: The students were tasked to collect the words under ee and ea and paste them on the board. They tried to read each card, and once they did, they could collect the card and gain a point.

It was a very nice Phonics activity, the whole class had a wonderful time while they were learning how to read.

They also tested their skills in practicing teamwork in their Japanese lesson. The whole class was divided into many groups; each group needed to write the character that the Japanese teacher would announce. The one that wrote the correct character, in the correct way, gained a point!

The whole class was excited to win as they practiced writing Hiragana!

Pair reading is their favorite in reading class. Nowadays, our little readers find it easier to read words, and they are very happy when they read books. They can now discover new words by themselves, and read them by sounding each letter or finding some vowel teams and magic e words in every sentence.

Have a beautiful weekend and see you all next week.

The Sports Festival is coming! We all see you there!
