OUR TRIP TO THE MUSEUM- Canyon Sept. 30th- Oct. 4th

Hi everyone!

This week, we started our Unit 3, where we talked about different craft techniques. For our assessment, they were asked what they think a “craft” is and what they need to use in making crafts. Some students said we can use paper, crayons, scissors, glue, and boxes to make something. Also, the students shared what crafts they have made in the past months, and then we determined the materials we used in making them. It was good that our little ones still remember them. After that, we discussed the rules for our new set of toys and materials in our workstation. Our youngsters became creative and artistic in making accessories using beads, decorating papers, cutting shapes, counting numbers, and making shapes and letters using sticks. Great job, Canyon!

(If you can find some time at home to do cutting and writing activities with your little one, please do so. This way, Canyon students can practice using scissors and pencils even at home.)

It was perfect weather for our bus trip to make it more memorable and fun! Our young ones visited the museum as part of our UOI lesson and saw beautiful art. They were amazed at how fine it was. It was a good opportunity for our youngsters to visit the museum so they could understand and have a deeper knowledge of what art is. After our trip to the museum, we had our picnic, and everybody was so happy and excited about their obentos! Thank you, parents, for making delicious obentos for them!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
