Does, didn’t, do, don’t??????

Even though ISN Elementary Class has been engaged in their current IB investigations, grammar continues to be an important focus. In writing, in group discussion, and in everyday conversation, students are busily fine-tuning their English language skills.
In addition this week we have finally completed our inquiries into the transdisciplinary theme “Where we are in place and time”, and the central idea “Geography influences how communities interact with their environment.” All students are to be commended for their commitment and their integrity in participating in all the investigations over the past 7 weeks. Certainly each student has not only shown enthusiasm, but has shown how they have deepened their understanding of the use and the importance of geography in our everyday lives. We look forward with enthusiasm to starting our next investigation focus on Monday.
Today we celebrated our Big Wonder Wall questions!
What is a submarine volcano?
Why are mountains big?
What is an artificial reef?
Why do animals change?
After our in-depth study of geography it was exciting to be able to use our improved knowledge and understanding to discuss the possible answers to these and other very challenging questions.
