ISN Elementary Class students have enjoyed taking action!
Today they used lots of creativity and enacted Ryan’s art idea.
Ryan explained his idea to the class: “I have a good idea how to paint on the floor where it is slippery. You can spread the paint in patterns with you hands and draw pictures with hands too. But I knew you couldn’t use the real floor so I thought you can use the plastic on the desks.”
Everyone thought it was a good idea and wanted to try it. So today we did. Students chose 3 colours to put on their plastic sheet. Then they used their hands to make colourful patterns, puzzles and pictures. Then we took photos of each masterpiece before cleaning up. Everyone had a lot of fun!
After painting students discussed which of the IB Learner Profile attributes were they doing; we chose “Balanced” because we had so much fun and it is important for people to have some fun.
