So, last Friday we enjoyed our bus trip to Azumino Park.
先週の金曜日は安曇野にある国営アルプス公園に遠足へ行きました。
Upon our arrival, early morning grey skies finally gave way to a light rain. This somewhat dampened spirits, however, after making our way to the Exhibition Centre, the students were soon back to their usual high spirits when they discovered the large pond installation inside the building.
公園に到着すると、早朝の灰色の空はついに小雨に変わってしまいました。しかし、エキシビション・センターに到着すると、建物内に設置された大きな池を発見し、子どもたちはすぐにいつものように元気になりました。
After a presentation about the local area from one of the staff members, the students enjoyed puzzle making. This was followed by exploring the Nature Guide room, where they enjoyed the various aquariums and their colourful contents.
スタッフから地域の説明を受けた後、パズル作りを楽しみました。その後、ネイチャー・ガイド・ルームを探検し、様々な水槽と生き物の観察を楽しみました。
After lunching in the Exhibition Centre, we stepped outside to find the rain had passed. We made our way to the Forest Garden, but not before we played a game of football.
エキシビション・センターで昼食をとった後、外に出ると雨は上がっていました。それから森の広場へ行き、サッカーをして遊びました。
Finally, we practised our Christmas Show song and boarded the homeward bus. Tired, weary and rosy-cheeked. A fine day enjoyed by all.
最後に、クリスマスショーの歌を練習して、帰路のバスに乗り込みました。疲れて、疲れて、バラ色の頬になって。素晴らしい日をみんなで楽しむことができました！
