Lights, camera, props!

Greetings and warm wishes,

Grade 4 have been busy this past week with designing and building props for our upcoming performance at Matsumoto Performing Arts Centre.

We decided early in our project to reduce the number of required props, from both a time management perspective and in making an artistic statement.

Last year a lot of our rehearsal time went into prop-making and by decreasing the amount of props this has given us more time for practicing our acting, which the class decided to be more important.

As mentioned, we also decided upon this course for artistic reasons but you’ll have to come and see our performance to learn more.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our show next week. Oh my goodness, did I just write next week!? Okay, back to rehearsals…

Take care and have a nice week. Bye!
