Hello everyone, we’re back.
皆さんこんにちは。
We just finished our sewing activities, coin bank making (piggy bank), shoe polishing, charity project, general cleaning and spring program. First thing we did was the four basic hand stitches. We learned how to do different kinds of stitches: running stitch, backstitch, whipstitch and slipstitch. Someday we could use this skill to keep old or favorite clothes .
Grade2クラスでは、ソーイング活動、貯金箱作り（貯金箱）、靴磨き、チャリティープロジェクト、大掃除、そしてちょうどスプリングプログラムを終えたところです。
ソーイングではまず最初に、手縫いの基本である4つのステッチです。並縫い、返し縫い、かがり縫い、まつり縫いの4種類の縫い方を学びました。いつかこの技術を使って、古い服やお気に入りの服を直したりできるかもしれませんね。
Second thing we did was making our own piggy bank. As young as 7 seven years old we need to save money for future use. Too much spending of our resources should be avoided.
2つ目は、貯金箱を作りました。7歳の若さでも、無駄遣いせず、将来のためにお金を貯めていきましょう（＾＾）
Third, we tried to reshape our old shoes by polishing them. We know some people who have been successful in life by choosing this line of work.
3つ目は、古い靴を磨いて形を整えました。この仕事を選んで人生を成功させた人たちについても学びました。
Fourth, we planned a charity project. We donated some old stuffs and collect some donations from our classmates and schoolmates. Then, we sort it out and put it in our designated donation box.
4つ目は、チャリティープロジェクトを企画しました。古いものを寄付し、クラスメートや学校の友達から寄付を集めました。そして、それを分類して皆でデザインしたボックスに入れました。
Fifth, we searched for some charity organizations that lend their hands to the unfortunate people in real life. We took ideas here on where and how they give their donations to the unfortunate people.
5つ目は、実際に恵まれない人たちに手を差し伸べているチャリティー団体を探しました。どこで、どのように、恵まれない人たちに寄付をしているのか、ここでヒントを得ました。
Sixth, we did cleaning time. We are moving to our new school so we need to bring all our things back home. We scrubbed the flooring and walls, we wiped our shelves and drawers, and gave letters and presents to our classmates and teachers.
6番目には、大掃除をしました。年度末であり、また学校も新しい場所へ引っ越すため、すべての荷物を家に持ち帰ります。床や壁を磨いて、棚や引き出しを拭き、そして最後に、クラスメートや先生に手紙やプレゼントを渡しました。
For our last week in school, we attended spring program activities. Our theme was about upcycling. We did crafts and sports equipment out of scraps. Things that we did were: picture frame, scrap book, games and film show.
今年度最後の週は、スプリングプログラムを行いました。テーマは「アップサイクル」。廃材を使った工作やスポーツ用品を作りました。フォトフレーム、スクラップブックを作り、ゲームやフィルムショーをして楽しみました。
To all my classmates, thank you for the good memories and presents. We love you. Please take care because we care. To all our parents, we are grateful to have you in our lives. Thanks for the unconditional love that you bestow on us. Please stay healthy physically and spiritually.
Grade2クラスの皆さん、良い思い出とプレゼントをありがとうございました。私たちは皆を愛しています。大切に思っているので、どうかお元気で。保護者の皆様へ、私たちの人生にあなたがいてくれることに感謝しています。私たちに与えてくれる無条件の愛に感謝します。どうか身体も心も、健康でいてください。
