Greetings!
The first graders had been busy reading and practicing their dialogue for the Christmas performance. They have shown their thinking skills on how they could be effective in their roles by applying the elements of theatre play that we discussed at the beginning of our Unit of Inquiry. We have worked hard practicing the songs as well as the movement and actions.
今週のグレード1のみんなは、パフォーマンスデイに向けて台本を読み台詞の練習に大忙しでした！
今回の探究の単元の始まりに話し合った演劇の要素を使ってどのように自分達の役をより印象的に演じるかを考える姿に、一人一人が思考力を使っている姿勢が見られました。動作や演技とともに歌の練習も頑張りました。
We were being balanced by not only working hard, but also enjoyed spending our time jogging at the park. We had fun playing with autumn leaves 🍁 after jogging. It was indeed short, but wonderful week!
一生懸命頑張るだけでなく、公園でジョギングをして楽しい時間も過ごしバランス良く過ごしています。ジョギングをした後は、紅葉や落ち葉で秋を楽しみました。平日が4日間しかありませんでしたのであっという間でしたが、素晴らしい一週間でした！
