ISN Elementary Class Presentation on Thursday was a great event for the students to be able to share their knowledge and skills with parents: their knowledge of their current IB unit which focuses on the interconnection and importance of occupations within the community, and their skills in public speaking, craft, cooperation, and the use of computers as a learning tool.
Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend. Every student was excited and it was very encouraging for them to see you there. For the parents who couldn’t attend, we would like to give you the video clip of your child to view at home. Just let the office know if you’d like a copy.
Next week students will be viewing these videos of their presentation as part of their reflection which will help them to see what they did really well and also how they can improve. Certainly over the past few weeks as well as during the actual presentation, Elementary Class can be commended for their attitude: cooperation, commitment, and creativity.
With the warmer weather we have been attending our ISN vegetable garden with more enthusiasm. Next week students will be harvesting their carrots for lunch each day. The tomatoes also are growing well and we look forward to picking them soon.
