This week has been exciting for Aurora class. Please see photos and read thoroughly our blog.今週は、オーロラクラスにとって、本当に楽しい一週間となりました！
✅ Unit of Inquiry
We got down to our next Unit of Inquiry with our Transdisciplinary Theme: How We Express Ourselves, Central Idea: Ideas and feelings can be communicated in a variety of ways, and Line of Inquiry 1: Identifying and describing feelings. We all engaged in making posters by finding words and stuck them on the laminated poster and read altogether. It was fun! Then We did a prior knowledge assessment and Aurora students were able to identify some feelings and emotions. After that, teacher introduced variety of feelings with flash cards and enjoyed tap a picture game. Then Teachers asked questions like, What makes you happy?/ sad?/ hurt? /. Aurora’s answers were very sensible. Teachers recorded their answers on a big paper. Please see one of the photos.
新しいUnitに入りました。新しいユニットは、How We Express Ourselves（どのように自分を表現するか）です（事前にお送りしている概要を参照してください） セントラルアイディアは、Ideas and feelings can be communicated in a variety of ways（考えや感情はいろいろな方法で表現することができる）, そして、 Line of Inquiry 1は、: Identifying and describing feelings （感情に気が付き、感情を表現しよう）です。これらのセンテンスを、先生が準備した単語ごとに探し出して、みんなで組み立てました。組み立てた文章は、ラミネートした台紙に貼り付け、クラスのIBウォールに貼り、みんなで声に出して何度も読み、意味をゆっくりと確認していきました。その後、レッスンを本格的に開始する前、どのくらいのことをのみんな知っているのか知識を確認するため、いくつかの感情（Feeling）を並べ、どの感情を知っているか聞きました。ほとんどのオーロラさんは、少なくともいくつかの感情を知っていて、それを表現することができています。その後、さらに沢山の種類の感情表現を先生から教わり、先生がジェスチャーで表す感情と、フラッシュカードの感情を一致させる、タッチングゲームをしました。さらに先生が、 What makes you happy?/ sad?/ hurt? と子どもたちに尋ねると、いろいろな答えが出ました。子どもたちの回答は、以下に載せた写真の最後をご覧ください！
✅ Bus Trip
Yeah! Aurora class went on a bus trip to Sky Park. It was a memorable experience to learn in a hands-on way and it provided us such a refreshing change of scenery from our everyday life. It also strengthened Aurora’s observation skills by immersing into sensory activities. And most of all, we had a pleasant lunch under the tree together at the park. Thank you parents for preparing lunch box.
月曜日はスカイパークへバストリップに行ってきました。一日公園で過ごし、かけがえのない思い出が作れました。毎日の生活とは違う経験をし、季節の移り変わりを感じとてもリフレッシュすることができました。この遠足中に、感覚活動に浸ることで、観察力も磨かれたと思います。何よりも、遠足の準備やお弁当をありがとうございました。
✅ Music Class
We learned the beating of the music by clapping our hands with castanets and pointing to the right color with rhythm using a stick.
スティックを使ったリズム打ちや、カスタネットを使ったリトミックを楽しみました。
