Winter is here and snow starts falling!
Although the temperature drops down, Aurora class stays active both inside and outside activities. Physical activity is essential for our healthy development, and getting outside is the best way to get moving. As we spend time outside in the cold, we develop resilience and foster a fascination with the changing seasons.雪が降り、冬を感じます。外は寒くても、オーロラクラスの子ども達はいつでもどこでもアクティブです！体力をつけるためにも、身体を動かすことは必要不可欠です。外に行くことは、身体を動かすのに最適です。寒い環境でも外に出ると、季節を感じながら身体の耐性や回復力を鍛えることができるので、とても大切ですね。
✅ Unit of Inquiry
We just began our last unit with our Transdisciplinary Theme, “How We Organise Ourselves” and Central Idea, “People have roles and responsibilities to organize the school community. Aurora students were grouped by table and were encouraged to work with other members of their group to make the Transdisciplinary Theme and Central Idea. The teachers gave them cut out words and asked them to find the words and have them stuck on the construction paper. Then we read them through together. It was a very wonderful scene seeing them worked together in harmony.最後のユニットとなります、 “How We Organise Ourselves” を今週からスタートしました。セントラルアイディアは、 “People have roles and responsibilities to organize the school community ”です。オーロラさんたちは、テーブルごとのグループに分かれ、この2つの言葉を力を合わせて組み立てることに挑戦しました。先生から単語が書かれた紙をもらい、先生が探して！といった言葉を探し、糊で貼り、一つの文章に仕上げました。仕上げた後は、文章を一緒に読み上げ、文章の確認をしました。グループのお友達と力を合わせて行ったこのアクテビティは、素晴らしい活動となりました。
✅ Calligraphy
Calligraphy is the art of writing beautifully. Aurora students wrote their name using black ink, brush, and calligraphy paper. It was a wonderful experience for us writing our names in calligraphy style.カリグラフィーは、美しい芸術の一つと考えます。オーロラクラスでは、書初めをしました。半紙に筆を使い、墨汁で自分の名前を書きました。
✅ Park
We had so much fun playing together in the park. Outdoor play is essential for us all year long.外遊びも楽しかったです。雪の翌日、公園に行きました。
