In Phonics, we learned about the letter Ww as in watermelon, window, water, watch, wall, and well. Since we are learning about transportation in UOI, we connected it to our game which Aurora enjoyed a lot. We played the Letter Ww Tunnel game. I prepared paper tunnels with letters written on it and I gave each of them a transportation toy. To play, they have to drive their toy until the finish line but they can only go through the tunnels with the letter Ww. Carefully, they drove the toy and watched which tunnels they could go. Everyone did a great job in following the rules of the game. Well done, Aurora!⭐
みなさん、こんにちは。 今週、オーロラクラスがどんな風に過ごしたのか・・お楽しみください！
フォニックスでは、 watermelo（スイカ）Window（窓）, water（水）, watch（時計）, wall（壁）, and well（井戸）などの W・w について学びました。 現在、クラスは UOIのレッスンで乗り物について学んでいるので、それに関連付けたゲームを行い、大いに楽しみました。 ”Lette W・w Tunnel（W.wトンネルゲーム）”をしました。 アルファベットの書かれた紙のトンネルを用意し、子ども達には乗り物のおもちゃを渡しました。 ゴールまでおもちゃを運転する必要がありますが、トンネルはW・w の文字が付いたものしか通れません。 どのトンネルを通れるかを観察し、注意深く運転しました。 みんなルールに従ってよくできました。 頑張ったね！オーロラ!
In UOI, we continued to explore transportation by sharing to the class what transportation they have. Most of them showed us their bicycles and striders. The colors are beautiful, sizes are small which is perfect for their age, and we counted how many wheels it has. Thank you so much, dear parents, for the wonderful pictures! Everybody was happy to see their friends’ favorite transportation!❤
UOIのレッスンでは、自分がどんな乗り物を持っているかをクラスに発表する形で、乗り物についての探求が続いています。 ほとんどの子が自分の自転車やストライダーを見せてくれました。 色も綺麗で、サイズは年齢相応の小さめサイズ、車輪の数を数えてみたりもしました。 保護者の皆様、素敵な写真をご提供くださり、ありがとうございました！ 友達のお気に入りの乗り物を見て、みんな大喜びでした。（この活動は来週も続きます）
Aurora helped us paint the airplane toy Ms. Sayuri made. At first, they guessed what transportation it was and most of them said, “I think it’s a train!” When Ms. Sayuri started putting the parts together, they finally guessed it right. It’s an airplane!✈ Now everyone is excited to ride and play on Aurora’s airplane!🛩 They also enjoy playing at our land transportation area with tunnels, roads, traffic lights, crossing lane, and parking lot.
さゆり先生が作った飛行機のおもちゃの塗装をオーロラ達が手伝ってくれました。 最初は何の乗り物なのか当ててみましたが、ほとんどの子が「電車だと思う！」と答えました。 さゆり先生が部品を組み立て始めたとき、ようやく当たりました、 飛行機です! オーロラの飛行機に乗って遊ぶことにみんな大興奮! また、トンネル、道路、信号機、横断歩道、駐車場のある陸上交通エリアでも楽しく遊んでいます。
Our class went to Nanbu park which is a perfect and safe place for children to watch and observe different transportations, especially trains. They saw various kinds of trains such as Azusa, Shinano, local train, blue thunder, hybrid, cargo train, and tanker train. At the parking lot, we saw the bus which was waiting for us going back to school, a van, and cars. Along the way, we saw more transportations. When we came back to school, Aurora drew the transportations they saw and most of them drew trains!🚉
子ども達が様々な交通機関、特に電車を見たり観察したりするのに最適で安全な場所、南部公園に行ってきました。「 あずさ」「しなの」などの特急列車の他、普通列車、ブルーサンダー、ハイブリッド、貨物列車、タンカートレインなど、さまざまな種類の列車が見られました。 駐車場では、学校帰りのバス、バン、車が待っていました。 途中でも多くの乗り物を見ました。 そして、学校に戻って見てきたばかりの乗り物を描きました。
On the last day of our UOI lesson this week, we played transportation guess the sound. After listening to the sound, students started guessing which transportation makes that sound. Most of their guesses were right! Then, they had to pick the picture on the board and post it on our wall poster whether it belongs to land, sky, or sea. Everyone did a great job!👏👏👏
This week’s workstation activities are name tracing, alphabet search, and scissor cutting practice. Aurora enjoys writing their names. They even try to write it down without tracing it. One of their favorite activities is searching for letters by shading or coloring it. They had fun cutting the lines which resulted in beautiful flowers. After naptime, we also have a few minutes to do workstation activities.
今週の UOI レッスンの最終日には、乗り物の音を当てるゲーム感覚の活動をしました。 ビデオ音響から聞こえてくる”音”を聞いた後、どんな乗り物がその音を発しているのかを推測しました。 その推測のほとんどが正しく当たっていました！ 次に、ボードからその乗り物の絵を選び、それが陸、空、海の内、どこで見られるかを判別し、壁のポスターに貼らなければなりません。 みんなよく頑張りました！
今週のワークステーションのアクティビティは、名前のトレース、アルファベットの検索、はさみの使い方の練習です。 オーロラは自分の名前を書くのが好きです。 彼らはそれをトレースせず、自分で書こうとさえします。 彼らの好きな活動の 1 つは、文字を見つけて色を塗ることです。 線を切るのも楽しんでいて、美しい花ができました。 昼寝の後は、ワークステーションでの作業を行う時間もあります。
Friday is our Music lesson day and everybody is excited for this because they are now learning how to make music using pianica. Last time, they focused on the two sets of two black keys on their pianica. Peace sign is the key for these keys!✌✌Then now, they started to play on the DO key repeatedly.
金曜日は音楽レッスンがありました。ピアニカを使って音を作る方法を学んでいるので、みんなとても楽しみにしています。 前回、彼らはピアニカの 2 つの黒鍵、2セットに焦点を当てました。 練習の鍵はピースサインです！
