This week, we finished our LOI1 where we discussed about “Myself and People Around Me”. We had an activity called “My Face” that emphasizes the importance and positivity of being different from others. We asked our little ones to look at the mirror one by one and reflect on themselves. We let them look at their face features such as their skin and hair color, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, etc. After that, they drew their face and presented it in front to see that everybody has a different face but being different is perfectly normal and a good thing. Well done, Aurora!👏🏻
今週「私自身と私の周りの人々」について話し合うLOI-1が終わりました。他の人との違いを理解する重要性を理解してもらったり、自身の積極性を強化するために「My Face」というアクティビティを行いました。 子ども達一人ずつに、鏡を見て自分自身を振り返り、肌や髪の色、目、鼻、口、耳などの顔の特徴を見てもらいました。その後、自分の顔（自画像）を描き、クラスの前に出て発表してもらいました。人はみんな違う顔を持っていますが、違っていても全然いい！ということを理解しました。よくできましたね！オーロラさん！
Also, we continued our “Show and Tell” activity about their favorite toy. Our youngsters brought their favorite toy and presented it in the class by saying, “This is my favorite toy. I like is because….” That’s great! Thank you for sharing!😍
This month, we started our phonics lesson. We learned letter A and its sound. We also talked about the words the begin with the sound /a/. For our activity, we did lacing letter A. Our youngsters enjoyed this activity and some of them asked their teachers if they can bring it home so they can show it to their parents.🤩
また、自分のお気に入りのおもちゃについて紹介する「Show and Tell」の活動の続きを行いました。子ども達は、持参したお気に入りのおもちゃを「This is my favorite toy.（これは私の大好きなおもちゃです）」「Because …（なぜなら…..だからです）」とクラスの前で発表しました。素晴らしいことです！ みんなに教えてくれてありがとう！ ※この活動に向け、玩具のご持参にご協力下さった保護者の皆様に感謝申し上げます。
Mother’s Day is coming! Our little ones made a very special card filled with so much love for their mom! It’s their way of showing love and appreciation for all the sacrifices and unconditional love of their mother. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL THE LOVING MOMS OUT THERE!!!💖
今月からフォニックスのレッスンが始まりました。「A・a」の文字とその音を学びました。 /a/ という音で始まる言葉についても話しました。 アクティビティでは、アルファベットの A・aの形をした紙に紐を通して文字を形作る作業をしました。子供たちはこのアクティビティを大いに楽しみ、中には両親に見せるために家に持ち帰ってもいいかと先生に尋ねた人もいました。
It’s getting warmer now, isn’t it?!
When our young ones started their journey as Aurora students, they also started their training on walking without rings anymore. This week, it was our first time to go to the park by foot! It was very fun to discover things around while we were on our way to the park such as the traffic lights, cars coming back and forth, and to see a lot of people. It was indeed a wonderful experience!🌞

母の日が近づいてきました！ 子ども達は、お母さんへの愛が詰まった特別なカードを作りました。 それは、お母さんの日頃の苦労や無償の愛に対する、愛と感謝を示すものです。 愛するお母さんへ、母の日おめでとうございます!!!
暖かくなってきましたね！
オーロラクラスの生徒としての旅（生活）が始まり、お散歩でも、お散歩リングなしで歩く練習を始めました。 今週は（少し離れた）公園まで初めて歩いて行きました！ 途中、信号、行き交う車、たくさんの人、、たくさんの発見があり、とても楽しかったです。 本当に素晴らしい経験でした！
