The highlight of our week was our afternoon circle open day!The students enjoyed storytime and having their afternoon snack with their parents.Thank you to all those who attended.

今週のハイライトは、午後のサークルタイムオープンデーでした！Auroraさんたちは、保護者の方々と一緒に絵本の読み聞かせや午後のおやつを楽しみました。ご参加いただきありがとうございました。
Show and tell
As part of our inquiry, we had a show and tell session on Tuesday afternoon. Everyone got the opportunity to describe their visits to farms, zoos and aquariums with the aid of the pictures we received from parents. It was refreshing to hear everyone try their best to describe the pictures based on their memory.
とある日のサークルタイムで、どんな動物を見たのか、どこで見たのか、農場、動物園、水族館へ行った時の写真を使いみんなに紹介をする”Show and tell”を行ないました。Auroraさんたちが一生懸命に記憶に基づいてお話をしてくれるのを聞くのはとても素敵な時間でした。お写真のご用意をしていただきありがとうございました。
Phonics and the letter I
This week we learnt how to write upper case I . The teacher introduced us to words that begin with i. These were igloo, invitation, itchy, insect, inhaler, ink, instruments and inside.
今週は大文字の I の書き方を学びました。イグルー（igloo）、招待状（invitation）、かゆみ（itchy）、昆虫（insect）、吸入器（inhaler）、インク（ink）、楽器（instruments）、内部（inside）。
Scissors,scissors,scissors!
From here on out, we plan to incorporate lots of craft activities that involve the use of scissors into our U.O.I , so we practised how to use our scissors this week.
これからU.O.I.では、ハサミを使う工作活動をたくさん取り入れていきたいと思っています。今週はハサミの使い方を練習しました。小さく切った画用紙は動物たちのごはんに変わりました。
Music
This week we enjoyed stomping around like elephants, hopping like rabbits and running like squirrels.
今週のミュージックレッスンはピアノの音に合わせてぞうになってゆっくり歩いたり、ウサギになって飛び跳ねたり、リスのように走ったりしました。正しい音符を探すことも上手にできますよ！
