We’ve been having so much fun doing many different activities this week. Monday we had our music lesson and did a writing activity. The students were not split this time so we played outside first all together and then did the writing all together.
今週は様々な活動をして楽しく過ごしました。月曜日はミュージックレッスンとライティングをしました。今回は2つのグループに分けず、ミュージックレッスンの後はみんなで外で遊び、その後ライティングをしました。
We have been continuing our math lessons everyday during the afternoon routine. The goal is to get up to 50 before they go on to Shooting Star. They have been learning fast! Addition to math, we will start practicing what we are going to say during the Milky Way and Rainforest graduation next month. Everyone is getting very excited.
Afternoon Circle Timeでは、毎日数を数える練習をしています。シューティングスタークラスに進級する前に50までの数を数えることが目標です。みんな覚えるのがとても早いです！また、3月に行われる卒園式でオーロラクラスから卒園児への贈る言葉も練習を始めました。
Tuesday we did a craft. The students made Hina dolls. Ms Shizuka talked to the students first to explain about the dolls before they made them.
火曜日はひな人形の製作をしました。まず、ひな人形の着物を折り紙で作りました。Ms. Shizukaが折り方を見せ、それをみんなが真似しながら折りました。1つの折り紙を折ると、もうひとつの折り紙は説明しなくても折れる子がたくさんいました。おひな様、お内裏様の顔を丁寧に描き台紙に貼り付けると、みんな自分たちの作った可愛らしいひな人形にとても満足しているようでした。教室外のろうかに貼りだしていますので、送迎の際などにご覧下さい。
Wednesday we went to the gym and had a lot of fun working in pairs to do different activities. At the end, the students made a train and tunnel.
水曜日は体操教室がありました。2人一組のペアを作って、様々な体操をしました。最後は電車チームと、トンネルチームに分かれ、電車ごっこをしました。
Thursday it was raining so we stayed inside. The students got to play with play-do. First they watched Ms Shizuka make the play-do together. It was very interesting. Then they got to play with it. After that, we played Fruit Basket. This time the cards had animals on them. We all had a great time.
木曜日は雨が降っていたので、公園には行かずスクール内で過ごしました。最初は粘土遊びをしました。Ms Shizukaがみんなの前で小麦粉、油、塩を混ぜて粘土を作るところを見せました。みんなとても興味深く見ていました。その粘土を配りそれぞれのテーブルで遊びました。型取りをしたり、へび、お花、ハートなど色んな物を作って粘土の感触を楽しんでいました。その後はお昼寝部屋に移り、みんなでフルーツバスケットをしました。今回は動物のカードを使ってゲームをしました。
今週から保護者面談が始まりました。お子さんの学習内容や作品を見て頂いたり、お家での様子などを聞ける良い機会になっています。保護者の皆様にはお忙しい中お時間を作っていただき、ありがとうございます。引き続き宜しくお願い致します。
