It has been a busy, amazing one-day-of-snow week. Firstly, to two of our new Aurora students(3 years old), a warm welcome to ISN! Hope your first week has been fun. Our highlight for the week was making our Koinobori. The children were focused and on-task with their craft. Good job!
3歳児のAuroraに2人の新しいお友達が来ました。今週は、その2人とともに”こいのぼり製作”をしました。先生のお話をしっかり聞き、何をするのかを理解し集中して作る事が出来ました。
We started on our series of phonics introduction – letter Aa, as in ape, airplane, ant and apple. The children coloured in some pictures too. We read a funny story entitled “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. It is a popular children’s book written by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault, illustrated by Lois Ehlert. The story begins with all the letters of the alphabet A-Z climbing up a coconut tree. Needless to say, the tree gave way and the whole alphabet came tumbling down, boom boom!
Phonics入門が始まりました。”A,a-ape,airplane,apple”の描かれたプリントを見て指で文字をなぞったり色を塗りながらAの発音を確認しました。
作:Bill ,Jr.とJohn Archambault 絵:Lois Ehlertによる”Chicka “Chicka Boom Boom”の英語の絵本では、全てのアルファベットが出てきます。言葉の繰り返しも楽しい絵本です。
Aurora class had their first music lesson. The music teacher handed each child a castanet, and the class did well for their first attempt! 😊👍🏻 We danced to some music too.
今年度初めてのミュージックレッスンでは、カスタネットを使って楽しみました。新しいダンスもみんなノリノリで踊っていました。
