Hello everyone,
Days are getting hotter, we always need to drink tea or water to keep hydrated. We walked once this week and our little ones got tired so quickly, lunch gets tastier and they slept as soon as they got in bed.
暑い日が続き、水分補給が欠かせない1週間でしたね。今週は普段より少し早く、涼しい時間に散歩に出たり、日陰を選んで園庭遊びを行いました。たくさん遊んで、昼食はよりおいしくなり、あっという間にお昼寝する子が多かったです。
Our morning circle time is getting lively since kids remember some of the songs we are singing every day. They respond when their names are called, and say how they feel like: I’m good! I’m Great, I’m hungry! Most of them sit quietly and listen to the teacher’s instructions. We are happy to see the kids grow and learn every day.
朝のサークルタイムで毎日歌っている歌を少しずつ覚えて歌えるようになり、にぎやかになってきました。 名前を呼ばれると「I’m here！」と返事をし、今日の気分を答えます： I’m good！ I’m Great, I’m hungry！ イスに座り、静かに先生のお話を聞く事ができる子が増え、日々成長し、学んでいく子どもたちの姿に、とても嬉しく思っています。
The kids had a wonderful time in our gym lesson. This week, kids played with the huge paraballoon. Kids enjoyed getting in and out, on and under the para balloon. They spent a lot of energy and sweat a lot.
今週のジムレッスンは、巨大なパラバルーンで遊びました！ 子供たちはパラバルーンが波打つように引っ張ったり、上に乗ったり中に入ったりと、夢中になって楽しみました。 たくさん体を動かしていい汗をかきました〜！
We did a bug hunt in the classroom this week. We stuck the plastic toy bugs on the wall and used the real bug-catching net. Kids had the chance to catch one bug each and they said their names. Kids were thrilled and were able to say their names. Well done, Meadow!
今月のテーマ「Insects(虫)」にちなみ、教室で虫とりをしました。 プラスチックのおもちゃの虫を壁に貼り、本物の虫取り網を使います。1匹ずつ虫を捕まえたら、その虫の名前をみんなの前で言いました。 子どもたちは大喜びで、捕まえる表情は真剣そのもの。先生に教えてもらいながら色んな虫の名前を覚えました！
To express the children’s love for their dads, they made a sun-catcher craft. They enjoyed sticking the colored cellophane at the center of the paper plate. They had good eye and hand coordination We reminded the kids to say “Thank you! I love YOU! when they hand it to dads.
今週日曜日の父の日に向け、大好きなパパを思い浮かべながらサンキャッチャーの工作をしました。 紙皿の真ん中にセロハンを貼るのが楽しかったようです。 カラフルなカラーセロファンを指先で器用に掴み、「楽しいねえ！」と言いながらペタペタと貼り付け、丸シールで飾り付けをしました。貼るスペースが無くなり、「もっと貼りたい！」と言う子も！お父さんに手渡す時には、I love you！と言って渡してね、と子どもたちにお願いしました。さて、上手に渡すことができたかな？子どもたちの頑張りと可愛い笑顔を、是非受け取ってください😊
