The students had a great opportunity to learn about communication this week. A lot of the time people think communication is all about talking. At least that’s what our students thought. We were able to challenge their thinking skills with a listening activity. They had to follow the instructions given to them. The catch was that the instruction would only be given ONCE. Everyone got at least one or more of the directions wrong and that was ok. We discussed the importance of listening to each other and the importance of being clear when talking to others. It was a difficult activity but everyone learned a lot from it.
今週は効果的にコミュニケーションを取る方法について学ぶ絶好の機会を得る事が出来ました！
多くの場合、コミュニケーションとは「話す事（話すスキル）」が全てだと考えられ、少なくともミルキーウェイのお友達はそう考えていました。
今週のリスニングエクササイズでみんなの考える力を試す為の挑戦をする事が出来ました！
このエクササイズでは、与えられた指示通りに絵を完成させます。
指示は一度だけしか与えらないので、集中して聞かなければなりません。
指示通りに出来ず間違えてしまう事もありましたが、間違えてしまう事は問題ありません。
このセクササイズの後に、お互いに耳を傾けることの重要性と、お話をする時にはハキハキと話す事の重要性について話し合いました。
少し難しいエクササイズで緊張している様子でしたが、エクササイズを通して「コミュニケーション」を取る上での大切な事を学ぶ事が出来ました✨
We had our Sports Festival this week! We know it was a little different this year but the students worked just as hard if not harder. Milky Way has been preparing for a long time to give their best performance. We could not be more proud of them and we know that you are as well. The students can’t wait to show you all in person for our gym open day.
そして今週は運動会がありました！！
いつもとは違う形の運動会でしたが、この日の為に一生懸命練習を積み重ねて来ました✨
ミルキーウェイさんにとっては最後の運動会。
先生の指示でテキパキ動く事が出来たり、他のクラスを応援する姿に年長クラスとしての頼もしさを感じる事が出来ました！
そして！！！！！長い期間練習をしてきたパフォーマンス！！！！
練習の成果を存分に発揮する事が出来、大成功に終わりました✨
Ms.CourtneyもMs.Miyuもなみだなみだです😭
みんなとっても格好良かったです！！この子達の可能性は無限大だと感じたパフォーマンスでした✨
