The weather is slowly getting warmer and there is much less snow around. This means that Milky Way students can enjoy their outside playtime much more. Since spring is starting soon, there should be more and more opportunities to play.
The class has started their new unit of inquiry today and has spent a lot of time learning about resources in Science class and some new countries in Geography class. Everyone seemed to like learning about milk, how it can come from cows, sheep or soy and how it is used to make everyone’s favourite treat, ice cream. Egypt proved to be the students’ favourite country and everyone showed amazing knowledge about the pyramids, pharaos, mummies and tomb raiders! A lot of students expressed a wish to „climb the great pyramid“!
This week has also seen a start of a new activity for Milky Way, „Contract Time“. As the students are getting prepared for Elementary class and their new Elementary schools, they have started to learn Maths, English and practice their motor skills through various play activities in the morning.
Friday was reserved for the school open day, which enabled the students’ parents to visit them during their morning activities. I would like to thank everyone for coming and supporting their angels’ learning. Hopefully next week will be just as fun!
