“Teamwork makes the dream work” has been our quote for this unit, and it indeed was true!
このユニットでは、「チームワークが夢を実現する」という言葉を掲げていますが、まさにその通りでした！
We opened unit 2 by engaging our students through challenges, challenges that were supposed to make them fail; We took the opportunity to turn these failures into encouragement rather than disappointment and learned the art of teamwork. We talked about how to work as a team and achieve goals as a group.
ユニット2の始まりでは、子ども達が失敗するであろうチャレンジをやってみました。この失敗を残念な気持ちだけではなく、励みに変えて、チームワークの素晴らしさを学びました。チームとして動き、グループとして目標を達成する方法について話してきました。
After a couple of months of inquiring about teamwork, the students were put into the same challenges to see how much they have learned from the unit and how much they have improved after being exposed to different team-building-like challenges.
チームワークについて探究してきた数ケ月後、子ども達はまた同じチャレンジに挑戦し、このユニットでどれだけ学んだか、チームとしてどれだけ成長したかを見てみました😊
Milky Way has been showing lots of developments in their Japanese skills; all of them love the subject, especially writing characters. Everybody is always happy and excited during the lessons.
ミルキーさん達は日本語レッスンも楽しんでいて、特に文字を書くことが大好きです✨
Aside from reviewing what to do during an earthquake, we were also given the chance to taste the food we are to eat during an emergency, Kanpan. It was a good treat for everybody and all of us found it delicious.
地震を想定した避難訓練では、もしもの時の対応について練習、確認した後、非常時の食事である「かんぱん」を試食しました。おいしい！という声がたくさん聞こえてきましたよ😊
It was another busy yet productive week for all of us at ISN. We will continue to work hand in hand and together achieve our goals and enjoy the VICTORY!
