Rainbow September 11-14, 2017

Hello Parents!
A few of our little angels are away this week due to fever. We can’t wait to see them back to school next week. Get well soon!
We are overflowing with fun learning activities this week. On Monday, we had a Music Class. Now that their brain growth and development is at its peak, the combination of music and movement give high learning advantage during their early learning. They are now becoming more interested in music. They happily clapped their hands and sang songs coupled with actions. Their favorite songs are “The Wheels On The Bus” and “Five Little Monkeys”. After our Music Class, we went outside for a walk. Here, we had the chance to assimilate our classroom lesson with the real things outside. Oh, how we loved to see their curious minds being stimulated.

On Tuesday, we had a “Fire Drill”. Upon hearing the sound of the bell, they stood up, covered their nose and mouth and lined up quietly. Good job Rainbow! After the Fire Drill, we had a “Swimming Class”. Our youngsters at first were hesitant to enter the shoulder-deep water, but when they began to do it, they found it exciting and kept on doing it over and over again.

On Wednesday, we had a “Gymnastic Class” and we practiced the activities for the Sports Festival. They exclaimed, “I’m Here” with a loud voice when their names were called. They ran as fast as they could and they were happy to reach the finish line.

On Thursday, we had a lesson about vegetables. Surprisingly, they could identify the vegetables by name; radish, cucumber, corn, tomato, potato and carrot. I asked them to find a picture of each vegetable and all of them did it enthusiastically. Then, I asked them, “Do you like…?”. All of them answered, “Yes, I Do.” with their thumbs up. Their vocabulary and communication skills are blossoming dramatically.

Have a great weekend everyone!
