Fruits are our monthly theme for this month of August, we have introduced various fruits to our Rainbow kids this week. They listened carefully and was able to recognized most of the fruits we taught in the flashcards. As fruits are essential for our body, we also encouraged them to eat fruit everyday. It helps during this summer season. Below are the photo of the fruits we have introduced this week.

今月のテーマはフルーツです！そこでフラッシュカードを使いさまざまなフルーツの名前を写真と共に学習していきます。
今週は、みんなが知っているフルーツの名前、発音を学びました。先生の後に続き発音に気をつけながらフルーツの名前を一つ一つ確認しながら言葉にだしていきました。
他にもレインボーのお友だちが初めて見た、聞いた!？果物も紹介しました。
クラスの壁に貼ってあるフルーツのポスターを見ながら”アップル””バナナ”と絵を指差しながらお友だちとお話してる姿もみられました。
果物は私たちにの身体に欠かせない食べ物ですね！特に夏は水分補給の役目も果たしてくれます。果物を食べて暑い夏をみんなで乗り越えましょう！
引き続き写真に載ってる果物の名前を楽しく学んでいきたいと思います。
The monthly song for this week is “Mr. Golden Sun” a very nice song that describe the desire of us wanting to play with the Sun. We did this song every day this week and taught them the gestures too! We have uploaded the video of them singing the song along with hands movement! Please do enjoy.

太陽が出てきたら、外へ飛び出したくなるような歌です。夏にぴったりの歌になっています。毎日、サークルタイムの時に歌いながら踊っています。
お時間がある時にお子様と一緒に歌ってみてください。
先生のマネをしながらレインボーのお友だちが可愛いダンスを披露してくれました。
This week is still a week of Summer program, therefore we always have our kids to play in the pool. Once we have checked the weather is good for the pool, we asked them to change their clothes into swimsuit. As usual, after we changed, we did some stretches and warm up so that we are physically prepared for the pool. The teacher explained the rules on what not to do and ensure everyone acknowledge them before we proceed to the shower and into the pool.
今週も絶好のプール日和となり、たくさん園庭で水遊びを楽しみました！
水遊びが大好きなレインボーのお友だち、今日はプールだよ！と伝えると歓声と共に素敵な笑顔がクラスに広がります。お着替えも自分で頑張るお友だち、先生にお手伝いしてもらいながら一緒に着替えるお友だち、お着替えも以前と比べると自分でできる事が増えてきました。お着替え、準備運動、お約束、シャワーの順番もしっかりと覚え行動に移せる様になってきました。お約束も守り毎日楽しい水遊びができています。
みんな楽しそうにお水と戯れ、お友だちと仲良く遊ぶことができました。
As for last week, we hosted a birthday party for our July celebrant! It was really a fun day as we first get to know the birthday celebrant by asking her a lot of questions about herself. “What color do you like?”, “What animal do you like?”, “What food do you like?” By doing this, everyone in the class knew more about her. Next, we sang the birthday song and gave her the birthday card, specially made by the Rainbow teachers. Then, we had a story time and dance with the celebrant. Happy birthday!
先月（7月）は、レインボークラスから1名お誕生日を迎えたお友達がいました。
みんなの前に出た時は、恥ずかしそうでしたが先生から、名前、年齢、好きな色や動物、食べ物を聞かれた時はハッキリと答える事ができました。お友だちも彼女の好きな物を知る事ができましたね。そしてみんなでお誕生日の歌を歌い、先生からお誕生日カードをもらいました！素敵な笑顔と共に”Thank you”と大きな声で言えました。
その後、先生が本を読んでくれました。みんな静かにお話を聞く事ができました。
最後にみんなでダンスをしてお誕生日会を楽しみました。
7月生まれのお友だち、お誕生日おめでとうございます。
まだまだ暑い日が続きますが体調に気をつけて、素敵な連休、夏休みをお過ごしください。休み明け、元気いっぱいのお友だちに会える事を楽しみにしています。
