シューティングスター保護者の皆さまこんにちは！
This week, we welcomed a new friend in Shooting Star. We showed him how caring we are and he was happy. Welcome!
今週はクラスに新しいお友達が加わりました✨
みんな新しいお友達に大喜び！登園初日は新しいお友達に「一緒に遊ぼう」と声を掛けたり、お手伝いをしてあげたり、優しいシューティングさんです♡
✅ Unit Of Inquiry
We have come to the last week of our unit. Shooting Star class made a helper card by demonstrating on their drawing how they can help the members of the family at home and a bonding request card where they expressed their desire on what kind of bonding activity they want to do with their family. Also, they made a big family poster. The poster says, I love My Family and a thank you medal which they shaped, decorated, and painted. It’s amazing how everyone expressed their thoughts in everything they performed. We also did the reflection of Who We Are unit where everyone was asked a couple of questions to reflect how far they have gained knowledge on unit 1. Kudos Shooting Star!
今週はUnit１の最終週でした！先週のヘルプカードに引き続き、今週は「リクエストカード」を作りました！このカードは家族と一緒にしたい事を描きました✨
また、ユニットのまとめとしてポスターを作成しました！このポスターのテーマは”Family Bonding”です！たくさんのお友達がポスターに”love”やハートを書いて家族への愛を表現していました！家族への感謝の気持ちを表現したメダルも作成しました！粘土をこねてデコレーションをし、ペイントをして仕上げました！これらの活動を通して、自分の家族への気持ちを表現する事が出来ました👏
（ポスターもメダルも、お手本や細かい指示は与えず、自分のやりたいように表現をしてもらいました！）
また、ユニットを振り返るリフレクションでは、このユニットでどんな事を学んだか一人ひとり質問をし、答えてもらいました！
✅ Phonics
This week, we learned the beginning word sound with __ig and __in words. Shooting Star students spelled, sounded out, and read all the words available for them. Then we formed the words with play dough and read them thoroughly. Reading is fun!
今週のフォニックスではCVCの_ig,_inで終わる単語を学びました！
前回のレッスンで行った粘土のアクティビティが大好評だったので、今回のレッスンでも単語をスペルし、読み、粘土で作りました✨
単語が読めるととても楽しいですね！
✅ Pulling Weeds
As part of our outdoor activities, pulling weeds was kind of new activity to us. We squatted low by bending our knees or by bending our waist, reached out, grasped the weeds and pulled them from the ground with a sufficient amount of force. When we were weeding, Shooting Star class showed increased curiosity and eagerness to experience new things.
園外活動の一つとして草むしりを行いました！
膝を曲げてしゃがみ、腰を曲げたり手を伸ばして地面から草を引き抜きます！
草むしりは初めての試みですが、新しいことにも意欲的にチャレンジする姿を見せてくれました！
シューティングさんのお陰で園庭がキレイになりました✨みんなありがとう♡
✅ Music Lesson
We have been practicing to play the pianica with the keys ; do, re , mi , and fa. Shooting Star class tried their best to play with accuracy.
ミュージックではドレミに加えてファの練習をしています！
みんな上手に弾けるように頑張りました✨
