Greetings,
Here’s another exciting and so engaging week for Shooting Star class wherein our risk-taker and communicator learner profiles are being challenged.
みなさんこんにちは！
今週はラーナープロファイルの「リスクテイカー」と「コミュニケイター」になれるように挑戦した、エキサイティングな1週間でした！
✅ Unit of Inquiry
We just started our new unit which is Sharing The Planet with our Central idea as, Living creatures are essential members of the planet and our first line of inquiry as, Living creatures around us. Shooting Star class was very excited when the teachers introduced this unit. We did a mind map activity what living creatures are and everyone in the class shared what they had in mind. We also set up our play area into a place surrounded with trees, and we put a tent, a barbecue area and a pond next to it. We also set up a place where we can observe how the frog, beetle, and snail grow. As part of our exploration of this unit, we went to the Forest Center to find some insects 🐞 🕷 🐜 and bugs 🐛. We enjoyed walking in nature and looking for our targets. It was fun!
今週からUnit２のスタートです！「地球を共有する」というテーマで、「昆虫や生物は地球にとって必要な存在である」という考えのもと、LOI1の「私たちの身の回りの昆虫や生き物」についての探求が始まりました！
Unit２のテーマをシューティングさんに伝えるとみんな大喜び！！
まずはじめに、私たちの身の回りにはどんな生き物がいるか意見を出し合うマインドマップをしてアイディアをシェアし合いました✨
そして、クラスの中に木や池、テントやバーベキューが出来るプレイエリアを作りました🌳ここでは虫捕りや釣り、バーベキューを楽しむことが出来たり、本物のカエル、くわがた、カタツムリの観察をする事ができます♩
そして、活動の一環として林業総合センターに行き虫を探しました！
森の中を歩きながらの虫探しはとても楽しかったです✨
✅ Gym Open Day
Thank you dear parents for coming to our Gym Open Day. It was indeed a great experience having you in our Gym lesson with our youngsters.

✅ Craft
Shooting Star made a craft for Star Festival which we decorated on the wall and everyone wrote their wish and hung in the branch of a bamboo tree. To enlivened the traditional festival, we sat on the mat and listened intently to the story of Altair and Vega. Thank you, Ms. Miyu for reading to us the beautiful Tanabata story that tells us the annual reunion of two lovers in the Milky Way.
今週、クラスでは七夕のクラフトをしたり、短冊に願い事を書いたりしました☆
この伝統的な行事を楽しむために、彦星様と織姫様の紙芝居を読みました✨
