We’re coming close to the end of our second line of inquiry soon. The student’s projects are almost done. They have shown a lot of creativity with their designs. The students come up with everything on their own with some teacher guidance. Their communication skills have improved while making these objects as a group. We can wait to show off the finished products.
2つ目のLine of Inquiryがもうすぐ終了します。Student Projectとして取り組んできた活動も終盤となりました。子供たちは素晴らしい想像力で取組、先生のほんの少しのて助けで仕上げてきました。グループ活動の中、子供たちはまたCommunication能力も向上させられたのではないでしょうか。完成がとても楽しみです。
We continued learning about more, less and equal this week. Some of the students are starting to come up with their own numbers to compare. Some choose the same number of cubes for each machine to show they are equal. We will be moving on to new comparisons starting next week.
今週も数の学習では、引き続き more, less とequal を学びました。何名かの子供たちは自分自身で2つの数字を選び、比べ始めていました。同じ数字のキューブを2枚のワークシート上に並べ、等しいということを表していました。来週からは別の教材を使い、比較について理解を深めていきます。
Students are also enjoying their regular activities such as going to the park, playing outside and music lessons. For phonics they have started learning about words and not just names. They also have done some labeling activities with letters. Later on this year they will try writing the whole word.
毎週、パークへ行ったり、園庭遊びをしたり、また音楽のレッスンなど、コンスタントにあるカリキュラムも楽しんでいます。フォニックスでは、子供たちの名前にフォーカスするだけではなく、 物の名前にラベルを貼ったりと、いよいよ別の単語にも触れ始めました。今年度は後に単語を書くという活動も出てきます。
