Hi everyone!!!✨
It’s almost Christmas time!🎅🏻 Our youngsters are so excited for it. This week, we talked about Christmas and New Year and how Japanese families traditionally celebrate these occasions. Also, we asked them what are the foods they usually eat or prepare on those celebrations. Some of them said, they eat pizza, cake, udon, and omurice on Christmas day and New Year. Since this week was last day week of classes, we asked them to remember the food they will prepare and eat on Christmas and New Year, then we will share it in our class when we come back in January.😊
子どもたちが楽しみにしているクリスマス、そしてお正月について話をしました。本来はどのような日でどういった伝統があるのか、日本でのお祝いの仕方などを伝え、そういった特別な日のための準備や、家でどんな物を食べるかを聞いてみました。ピザやケーキ、うどん、オムライスなど、それぞれ美味しいものを食べ、お家の方と温かく過ごしている様子が伝わってきました✨年明けには、クリスマスとお正月に食べた物をみんなに共有してもらおうと思っています😊何を食べたか覚えておいてね🎂🍕🍗🍱！
This week, our little ones made a special Christmas tree…🎄 We collected pine tree cones, then we went to the Shrine to get something they can use as decorations on their Christmas tree. After that, they picked some ornaments they want and put them on the tree carefully. Some of them chose acorns, small red and black berries, colorful stars, and pom-poms. Their creativity came out while doing this craft.⭐ These are the cutest little Christmas trees I’ve ever seen!✨ Well done!!!
クリスマスツリー製作をしました♪🎄 松ぼっくりを好きな数だけボンドをつけながら積み上げます。そこへキラキラのモールやスパンコール、ポンポン、神社へ散歩に行った時にみんなで集めた木の実、どんぐりの帽子などから、好きな物を選び丁寧に飾りつけていきました。土台いっぱいに松ぼっくりを並べる子、工夫しながら慎重に積み上げていく子、「この木の実は、ツリーの下においてあるプレゼントなんだよ」とイメージを膨らませながら作り上げる子、細かい飾りを最後まで集中して飾り付ける子…それぞれが自由に楽しみながら、世界で1つのとってもかわいいクリスマスツリーが完成しました⭐
It is getting colder and colder every day, right?!
But it didn’t stop us to enjoy the cold-sunny weather and we went to the park by foot.🌞 It was a 30 minute walk away from the campus but it was worth it! We had a great time playing and enjoying the scenery around it. It was a good exercise too!🚶🏻♀🚶🏻♂
久しぶりに公園へ散歩に行きました。寒い日でしたが日差しはあり、クリスマスショー前はなかなかゆっくり散歩に出られなかったので、みんな嬉しそう🧡30分程の道のりもしっかり歩けるほど体力もついてきました✨公園でたっぷり遊び、帰りの緑道では、お友達、先生とかけっこも🏃♂️🏃🏻♀️！！元気に遊んで、寒さに負けずに過ごそうね☀

4月にスタートしたCanyonクラス。元気いっぱいの子どもたちと過ごし、たくさんの成長を保護者の皆様と共有することができました。保護者の皆様には様々な場面でご理解、ご協力いただきまして、改めて感謝申し上げます。年明けには、子どもたちの笑顔と年末年始の楽しかったお話が聞けることを楽しみにしています😊キャニオンのかわいい子どもたちと皆様にとって、明るく楽しいホリデーシーズンとなりますように💖
