As we go deeper into our discussion about transportation, we identified and determined what are the types of vehicles people used in the past and how it looks like now in the present time. To understand this topic much better, we watched this video:

LOI2では、昔の乗り物と現代の乗り物を比べ、見た目や機能の違いなどの変化を発見し、みんなで意見を出しあっています。今週は、昔はどんな形の乗り物に乗っていたのか、そして現代ではどのような形になっているのか、ビデオを見てさらに分かりやすく学びました。
Also, we did sorting of past and present transportation. Our youngsters cut and pasted the transportation pictures in the past or present. Well done everyone!
また、6つの乗り物のイラストを、過去の物と現在の物に分けるワークシートを行いました。イラストを1つずつ丁寧にハサミで切り取り、これは古い乗り物か(past)、現代で使われている乗り物か(present)を考え、各スペースへ糊で貼り付けます。先生に聞いて教えてもらうのではなく、どの子も自分たちでイラストをよく見て考え、真剣に取り組んでいました。
When children learn to be caring and kind, they also benefit developmentally. Being kind makes them feel good about themselves and improves their outlook in life.
This week we conducted a Fire Drill. We explained to them what is a “Fire”. Also, we taught them the safety precautions when there is a fire such as follows:
-Do not push your friends
-Do not run.
-Do not talk.
-Do not come back in the building
-Cover your mouth.

今月の避難訓練は、火災によりエントランスから避難できなかった時を想定して行われました。非常ベルがなり火災が起きた知らせを聞くと、まずは静かにクラスの先生の指示を聞きます。それからカラー帽子や防災クッションを被り、クラスの避難窓から全員落ち着いて避難できました。火災発生時の約束事も、再度全員で確認しました。
お-友達を押してはいけない。は-走らない。し-しゃべらない。も-建物の中に戻らない。て-手で口をふさぐ。
