Halloween is in the air… and ghouls, witches and crafts are in the making! Our Halloween Party song this year is Monster Stomp Around the House. Savanna transformed ourselves into witches – with our hats and flying broomsticks. At the same time, we reviewed properties of basic shapes. Savanna said, “rectangle… 2 long sides and 2 short sides. Triangles have 3 sides”. Someone added, “look our table… a rectangle”! Good observation. Savanna drew and cut out triangular hats and rectangular brooms. We were the cutest, loveliest bunch of witches!
ISNではハロウィン空気が漂っています🎃そして、サバンナさんは魔女やゴーストのハロウィンクラフトに大忙しです。今年のハロウィンパーティーの曲は「Monster Stomp Around the House」です。サバンナクラスのみんなは帽子を被り、ほうきを持った魔女に大変身！クラフト作りと同時に、基本的な形の性質を見直しました。みんなで繰り返しますー「長方形は長い線が2本、短い線が2本。三角形は線が3本」。誰かが「テーブルを見て！これ長方形だよ！」と付け加えました。とても鋭い観察力ですね。サバンナさんは三角形の帽子と長方形のほうきを描いて切り抜きました。サバンナクラスのみんなは、最高に可愛い素敵な魔女の集団になりました！
For phonics, we had a letter hunt for Y which makes the sound /y/ as in yellow, yoyo, yes. We found many Ys in our classroom. We had Y in our names and in the classroom – calendar Monday, Tuesday… months January May. We discovered that the letter Y has different sounds and is sometimes silent. We worked hard and we played hard too. In the schoolyard, we had a tyre race and wow we were strong! We had fun in the park too. Till next week, take care and have a great weekend!
フォニックスでは、黄色、ヨーヨー、イエスのような /y/ の音を発する Y の文字探しをしました。サバンナクラスにはたくさんのYがありました。名前にもYが隠れていました👀 クラスにはカレンダーの曜日、月にもYがありました。サバンナさんは「Y」という文字にはさまざまな音（発音）があり、時には無音であることを発見しました。今週もサバンナさんは一生懸命働き、そして一生懸命遊びました。園庭でタイヤレースをました。みんなとっても強かったです！公園でも楽しみました。それではみなさま良い週末をお過ごしください！
