家族について深く学ぶ第一回目の学習 Shooting Star クラス 4月10～14日より

It’s nice sharing with you what we have done this week.
今週行ったことをお知らせします。
Shooting Star class has just led off to our first unit with our theme, family. In this unit, we want to demonstrate our learner profile as caring, open-minded, balanced, and reflective knowing that every family is unique. We began this unit by watching a Peppa Pig video as our prior knowledge assessment activity. Some Shooting Star students were familiar with Peppa Pig already and they were able to name the characters like, Grandpa Pig, Grandma Pig, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, Peppa Pig, and Brother George Pig. Then, the teacher challenged the students to think of what our unit 1 is all about by asking provocative questions and hurrah! Shooting Star students were able to think and they said, Family. We are thinkers. Well done, Shooting Star.
Shooting Star クラスでは一回目のテーマである家族について学びをスタートしました。この学びではどの家族もが違っているということを知り、caring（人に優しく）, open-minded（人を敬い）, balanced（自分のことに責任を持ち）, and reflective（より良く）という学びを実践したいと考えています。このアクティビティの知識に先立ちPeppa Pigのビデオを見て学びに取り組み始めました。Peppa Pigを良く知っているShooting Starの子供達もいてGrandpa Pig, Grandma Pig, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, Peppa Pig, and Brother George Pig. のように登場するキャラクターの名前を知っている子ども達もいました。そこで先生達はunit 1がどんな内容なのか子供達に考えさせるような質問をしました。みんな考えてから ”Family”と答えていました。自分で考えられたShooting Starの子供達、頑張ったね。
For our Phonics lesson, we reviewed the letters from letter Aa to Ii. Shooting Star class played balls with an uppercase and lowercase letter on them. They did find the uppercase letters and matched with the lowercase letters. Everyone actively engaged in the game by pair.
フォニックスの学びではAa から Iiのアルファベットを復習しました。Shooting Starのレッスンでは大文字と小文字の書かれたボールで遊びました。みんな大文字、小文字を見つけてマッチングさせられました。ペアになって積極的に参加していました。
For writing, we started practice writing the lowercase letter “a”. The direction was, from the top, go round then, straight up to the top without lifting our finger all the way down and give a little flick. Each student was given a practice writing board and practiced by themselves.
文字を書く学びでは小文字の “a”を書く練習を始めました。書き順は上から下へ丸く書き、そして真っ直ぐ上に指を持ち上げずに下に下ろし、少し跳ねます。どの子供達も文字を書くホワイトボードを使用し、自分で練習しました。
And we had so much fun playing in the park.
公園でたくさん遊んで楽しい時間を過ごしました。
