The first week of July was about friends around the world. We read a book that tells us our similarities and differences with other children from different parts of the world. We found out that although we come from different places, we would also love the same kind of food, sports, or games. It was also fun writing a letter to our friends. We told them many things about us and where we live. I hope they receive our letter.
7月の1週目は、「世界中の友達」を学びました。世界のさまざまな地域の子どもたちとの共通点や違いなどが書かれた本を読み、違う場所に暮らしていても同じ種類の食べ物やスポーツ、ゲームが好きだということがわかりました。また、アクティビティーで読んだ本の中の人物を新しい友人として手紙を書くアクティビティもとても楽しんでいました。私たちのことや住んでいる場所など、いろいろなことを伝えました。私たちの手紙が無事届くことを願っています。
Our art class was about the future. The theme was “From Now On.” What we think our future would look like. Here are the questions we need to answer on our drawing:
アートの時間は、未来について “From Now On（これから） “をテーマに絵を描きました。私たちの未来はどのようになると思うか。これらの質問に子どもたちは絵で答えてくれました。
- Will things change from now? これから物事は変わっていくのか？
- What is going to happen to our future? 私たちの未来はどうなるの？
- What is going to happen to our animals? 動物たちはどうなるんだろう？
- What is going to happen to our nature? 私たちの自然はどうなってしまうの？
- When does the change start? This moment? Today? This year? その変化はいつから始まるのだろうか？今この瞬間？今日？今年？
This was also the week when played word games for our spelling. We hope not to forget all the words we learned. For our P.E. time, played rock scissors paper using our feet then chase the other person if we lose! It was really exciting! This was a week loaded with fun, fun, fun!
また、この週はスペリングのために単語ゲームをしました。習った単語を忘れないようにしたいですね。体育の時間には、足を使ってじゃんけんをして、負けたら相手を追いかけるというゲームをしました。皆盛り上がっていました。今週は楽しい、楽しい、楽しいが満載の一週間でした！
