So, in the Grade 3 classroom this week, the students continued preparing for their presentations and finally gave them on Wednesday morning.
今週のGrade３のクラスは、プレゼンテーションの準備の続きから始めました。そして、ついに水曜日に本番を迎えました。
The themes were all of an environmental nature, for example, deforestation, ocean plastic and climate change.
テーマは全ての自然環境です。例えば森林破壊・海のプラスティックや気候変動についてです。
The students proposed various solutions ranging from planting trees and stopping single-use plastics pollution to reducing the amount of meat eaten and avoiding using fossil fuels and other energy saving measures.
生徒たちは、木を植える・使い捨てプラスチック汚染の防止から肉食を減らし、化石燃料の使用を控えるなど、省エネも配慮した様々な解決方法を提案しました。
Overall, the presentations were well-delivered and clear in both their content and manner of delivery. Students were attempting to make eye contact a lot more, while also using more gestures and louder speaking voices.
全体的に、プレゼンテーションは内容も伝え方も明確で、大変よくできていました。生徒たちは、しっかりとアイコンタクトを取りながら、ジェスチャーを交えて大きな声で発表をしようと取り組んでいました。
