Hello, everyone!
皆さんこんにちは！
This will be our last entry for this school year. We feel really sad to leave G1 but we are also excited to be in G2. Before we end this school year, some of us would still want to see our classmates and teachers so we decided to join the Spring Program.
今年度最後のブログとなります。Grade1を離れるのはとても寂しいですが、Grade2になるのが楽しみでもありますね。最後の通常クラスは終わりましたが、スプリングプログラムで今年度最後の週を楽しんでいます。
Here are the things we did for the Spring Program. We first made a picture frame made out of recycled materials. Since we want to save the earth and share the planet, we did recycling. Our picture frames were made of used card boards. We also printed out pictures of our memories in G1.
スプリングプログラムでの活動を紹介します。まず、リサイクルした材料でフォトフレームを作りました。Unit6で学んだように、地球を救い、共有するためにリサイクルを行いました。段ボールを使ってフォトフレームを作り、Grade1での思い出の写真を印刷して飾りました。
The next day we made a mini book of our best memories in G1. We named it, “My 1st Grade Memories 2021-2022”. We drew and wrote information about ourselves, our school, our teachers and the things we will miss. Of course we also included the things we look forward to in G2.
次の日は、Grade1での最高の思い出を集めたミニブックを作りました。自分のこと、学校のこと、先生のこと、そしてこれから恋しくなるであろうことを絵に書いて、❛2021-2022年の1年生の思い出❜と名づけました。もちろん、Grade2で楽しみにしていることも書いてあります。
Finally, we ended our week with a movie called, “Inside Out” which is about the different emotions of an 11-year-old girl. It was a fun movie to watch and most of us kept laughing in some of the scenes. We wrote down on our diary the lessons we learned from the movie.
最後に、11歳の少女のさまざまな感情を描いた「インサイド・アウト」という映画を観て、今週を終えました。見ていて楽しい映画で、皆で笑い続けるシーンもありました。今日の日記には、この映画から学んだことを書きました。
All good things must come to an end. Though we enjoyed the school year, we also have to welcome the new school year and take on the new challenges as a second grade student.

楽しいことにも終わりが訪れます。楽しい一年でしたが、新学期を迎え、Grade2として新しいことにチャレンジしていかなければなりません。

By the way, below is a message from our homeroom teacher, Ms. Phoebe. She will be taking a maternity leave and will be away for a year. But we look forward to see her again when we’re in G3.
そして、以下は今年1年間、Grade1の担任を務めたフィービー先生からのメッセージです。フィービー先生は1年間の産休に入ります。皆がGrade3になったとき、また会えるのを楽しみにしています。
Dear Students, Parents, Teachers and Staff,
My time here has been amazing and I’ve learned something from each and every one of you.
Though I am excited about the new role of becoming a mom, I must admit that I will miss you all. I appreciate your love, support, encouragement, and guidance for all the time I’ve been here at ISN.
You have been a family to me. I will cherish the moments we’ve shared in making the life of our students better.
I must admit I have spent the year with a bunch of incredible students, parents, teachers and staff this year.
Let’s keep in touch.

生徒の皆さん、保護者の皆さん、先生方、スタッフの皆さんへ。
ここで過ごした時間は素晴らしいもので、皆さん一人ひとりからたくさんのことを学びました。
私は母親になるということにワクワクしていますが、皆さんと離れることは正直とても寂しいです。ISNでの皆さんの愛、サポート、励まし、そして指導に感謝しています。
皆さんは私にとって家族のような存在でした。子ども達の人生をより良いものにするために共有した時間を大切にしていきたいと思います。
今年は、素晴らしい子ども達、保護者、先生、スタッフの皆さんと一年を過ごせたことを確信しています。
これからも連絡を取り合いましょう。

また、今年小学部のアシスタントを務めましたMs.Kumiは南松本キャンパスへ異動となります。今年一年間、小学部の皆さんと同じ時間を過ごし、たくさんのことを学ぶことができました。エネルギー溢れる皆からいつも元気をもらっていました。これからも皆さんの成長を楽しみにしています。保護者の皆様にも大変お世話になり、ありがとうございました。
