Hello, everyone!
It’s been a while since our last update. For our Unit 3 lesson we also discovered a lot of things about light. We had activities on finding out which objects light would pass through. We tested on a lot of things we find inside the classroom. We even tested our own bodies if light could pass through it! We had so much fun using the flashlight and writing down all our observations.
皆さんこんにちは。前回の更新から少し時間が経ってしまいました。探求の時間、ユニット3では、光についてもいろいろなことを発見しました。光がどのようなものを通過するかを調べるアクティビティでは、教室の中にあるたくさんのもので実験しました。自分の体を光が通るかどうかも試してみました。懐中電灯を使って、観察したいろいろなことを書くのはとても楽しかったです。
We were also surprised when we tried mixing lights. We did it in a dark room. We thought that mixing colors like pencils, crayons and paint would have the same result as the light. But we were so wrong. That was another learning for us.
また、教室を暗くして、光を混ぜてみると驚きました。鉛筆やクレヨン、絵の具などの色を混ぜた時と同じような結果になると思っていたのですが、それは間違いでした！これは私たちにとって新しい学びでした。
W also enjoyed the activities for refraction and reflection when we made our own snowflakes on a CD. There were so many beautiful colors on the ceilings and walls. It was almost like a rainbow everywhere inside the classroom.
また、CDを使って雪の結晶を作り、屈折と反射の実験も楽しみました。天井や壁にはたくさんのきれいな現れ、まるで虹のようでした！
