Greetings!
In this week, Grade One has focused on the second lines of inquiry, How transportation has changed over time. This unit stirred up our interest and curiosity how the past transportations looked like. We talked about the similarities and differences between then and now transportations. The first graders found this unit interesting. One of them exclaimed, “This topic is fun” when we talked about how goods were transported before using animals and how it is now using trucks and other kinds of transportation. They have developed their thinking and research skills by finding answers to the questions everyone wrote on the wonder wall by using the laptop typing by their own.
They also have their cooking lesson this week, everyone showed excitement and interest in making cupcakes 🧁. Awesome!
