Well, the gloves are off and the greasepaint is close at hand, as Grade 4 go forth with our production for this year’s Performance Day.
さて、今年のパフォーマンス・デーに向けて、Grade4クラスは手袋を外し、ドーランを手に制作を進めています。
We are knee-deep in rehearsals and now working on stage positions and vocalizing. We are also encouraging each other to learn our lines and develop the emotional range of our characters, i.e. if the character is now happy, how do I make them sound happy, etc.
私たちはリハーサルに熱中して取り組み、今は立ち位置の確認と発声練習を行っています。 また、セリフを覚えたり、キャラクターの感情の幅を広げるために、お互いに励まし合っています。例えば、今、キャラクターが喜んでいるとしたら、どうすれば喜んでいるように聞こえるか、などです。
Many thanks to all families that are currently helping with costumes. A reminder that costumes are needed by Monday 29th of next week.
現在、コスチュームをご用意いただいているご家族の皆様、本当にありがとうございます。来週の29日（月）までに持ってきてください。よろしくお願いいたします。
Also, we’d appreciate your help in lending an ear to the students practicing their scripts at home. Practice makes perfect, right?
