Milky Way January 22-26

This week proved to be another interesting one for Milky Way! The biggest event was definitely Monday’s heavy snowfall which provided plenty of opportunity for the studenta to enjoy building snowmen and shoveling during the next several days.
The students have also started to practice their speech and musical performance for the graduation ceremony in March. Everyone is doing an excellent job and was enjoying playing a new instrument: the bells.
As far as class goes, this week the studenta have been learning about different cycles in their environment through discussion and craft, such as life cycles of the butterfly and frog, the water cycle, recycling activities and the sea turtle migrations. They showed the most interest in discussing extinct and endangered animals and what we all can do to help preserve them and also in making our own Milky Way class garden in jar. Everyone is aware of the bad effects of throwing thrash in nature and the useful inventions such as electric cars!
Let’s hope the next week is just as fun!
